My mother-in-law was going through cancer treatments (cancer that finally took her away from us) when there were a few break ins in her neighborhood. She told the salesman that came to her house that she wasn't long for this world and his exact words were ""You can't collect from a dead person.""
BUT you can threaten their relatives two years after the death of that person. Tonight I got a phone call from a collection agency threatening me with a civil suit if we didn't pay up.
They don't have a leg to stand on in court but I would like to let you know who you are getting into business with.
