Review content:
This is a busy, nicely decorated Japanese/Sushi restaurant. I am an aficionado of sushi and in Atlanta every Japanese/Sushi I try is compared to the best I have yet found - Sushi Yoshi (Norcross). The Miso Soup was good (not great) and the house salad small. Excellent was the tempura red snapper that was served as a welcome snack. Kani House's prices are 40% higher that what I pay for sushi/sashimi at Sushi Yoshi and though the portion of fish were large, the quality of was inferior: the salmon was not firm but slightly soft and it had a noticeable grainy texture. I had seven orders of sushi (no drinks) and I paid $33 + tip. Expensive for what I got
Pros: Excellent tempura red snapper
Cons: Sushi was subpar and the meal was pricy for what I got
