6 months ago my daughter?s 2 YO pet hamster had become ill and Ehrlick AH (my vet at the time) would not treat it. We took it to CPAH and they did a good job with treatment. Although the Hamster eventually passed away CPAH treated the Hamster with great care and us (especially my Daughter) with compassion. We also have a 2 YO Purebred Maltese whom I am very particular about, as I have owned Maltese's for over 15 years. EAH cost me a lot for regular visits, shots, and flee/heartworm meds. Recently I priced out EAH for teeth cleaning. They quoted over $800.00 for a reg. cleaning and 3 puppy tooth extractions!! I almost passed out! CPAH did the same cleaning (prep, anesthesia, extraction, cleaning, pain meds, and antibiotics) for a little more than $200.00. (this is their everyday price for the service). I was very impressed with the level of service, explanation of the procedure and risks, and follow up from the staff. My Maltese came home the same day, a little groggy from the anesthetics, but with barely any noticeable ""holes"" from the extractions and very clean teeth. (especially the back molars, hard to get areas for a small dogs mouth). I could tell CPAH did a thorough and detailed procedure. I also priced out regular flee/heartworm preventive meds from them (Advantage & Heartguard) and found their prices less than EAH without the hassle of paying for a checkup to get the meds as EAH has done to me in the past. Another note, I saw a kitten that was clipped by a car on Sheldon Rd. not long ago. The car in front of me picked it up and I followed them to CPAH. They took the kitten in and treated it without a cost to the good Samaritan and that really impressed me. Bottom line: CPAH has a caring staff, quality doctors, and very reasonable prices for their service. I have since switched vets from EAH to CPAH and recommend them not only for quality care but also for sincere compassion for pet and owner alike. SG in Citrus Park Pros: Reasonable Prices, Quality service, compassionate staff & Doctors. Cons: Parking lot is hard to navigate with all the trees.
