Review content:
I wouldn't recommend this place. My husband and I made reservations weeks in advance for a room with a kitchenette as we would be staying there 2 weeks. We checked in and the front desk lady told us someone had scribbled out our room number and gave us another without kitchen and there wasn't one available for 2 days(verified we would be able to move with 2 employees). so i went back to get the keys to move and the employee told that it was stupid that anyone told me a room would be available and i was lucky cuz someone moved out early so we could take that room. I moved all our stuff down the stairs (which took forever b/c the maids blocked the stairs w/ supplies and wouldn't move it over) When I looked in the kitchen the stove had been taken out so the room had exactly the same amenities as the one I was originally in. Also we found dirty clothes squished between the mattress and headboard, the biggest dustbunnies I had ever seen under the bed, and omg the shower was gross. My husband called front desk and spoke to megan. She said all kitchenette rooms had a stove and that they could not move us to the room we originally reserved because the hotel had returning customers and they were more important than us. She was incredibly rude. The next morning I went down to talk to the manager who was on vacation but would be back the next day. Amazingly before I even got out of bed that morning the office called to tell me they had a kitchenette available. So once again I had to move all my things. I went to the office one morning to use the public computer and overheard the employees talking about me like I wasn't there- how rude. The best part of us not getting the room we wanted was that the place was not busy the entire time we were there. I saw kitchenette rooms that were available the whole time. This place is incredibly loud because it's at the corner of the two busiest streets in town, it is dirty, and some of the employees don't know the meaning of customer service
Pros: close to downtown, pet friendly
Cons: rude employees, loud, dirty
