Review content:
UPDATE ON UPDATE: Received my card last week but only after many emails one of which contained a link to this review. They have since asked me to delete the review entirely however citysearch only allows editing. UPDATE: So after the move I was contacted by Eagle and told that if I wrote a review and posted it online they would send me a $15 thank you card to Home Depot. I wrote the review below and gave them 4 stars due to the tardiness and was told by an Eagle Customer Relations Manager ""thank you for your honesty - as we believe in complete integrity we would not ask you to change your review, please look for your gift card in 3/4 weeks"". This was four months ago. I have followed up with them since and have gotten no response or giftcard. Based on this, I can only assume that the promise of a giftcard is meant to be a bribe for positive reviews which is shady on so many levels. ORIGINAL REVIEW: These guys were great. The first thing that set them apart from the (many) other companies I got quotes from was the fact that they insisted on a site visit prior to the move in order to give me a clear estimate. That made me trust them more than a paper quote. They weren?t the cheapest but the cheaper movers had some negative reviews and I didn?t think this was the area to save money. There are so many horror stories about movers holding items ?hostage? plus it was just me, so I wanted a company with a solid base of positive recommendations. They handled my items with complete care - there was nothing broken, nothing scratched. The only thing keeping me from giving them a full 5 star rating was their timing ? they were 15 minutes late on the day of the move and took an hour to get to my new location (a 20 minute drive). But other than that, everything else was great.
