IVE BEEN TO THIS DENTIST ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS SINCE IVE MOVED TO THE STATEN ISLAND AREA. MY PURPOSE FOR THE VISIT WAS A CLEANING AND WAS MET WITH A LIST OF THINGS WRONG WITH MY TEETH. DR. GASTALDI TOLD ME THAT I NEEDED A ROOT CANAL. IVE TAKEN CARE OF MY TEETH MY ENTIRE LIFE AND HAD SUSPICIONS TO HIS FINDINGS, SO I WENT BACK TO MY OLD DENTIST AND WAS TOLD MY TEETH WERE VERY HEALTH AND DIDNT FIND ANYTHING WRONG. I FURTHER DECIDED TO VISIT OTHER DENTISTS AT MY OWN EXPENSE AND WAS TOLD THAT MY TEETH WERE HEALTH. I CONTACTED MY INSURANCE COMPANY AND WAS MET WITH RESISTANCE AND TOLD ME THAT IF I WANTED TO FILE A COMPLAINT IT COULDNT BE ANONYMOUS, I WAS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE WITH THAT PRACTICE SO I FILED AN OFFICIAL COMPLAINT WITH THE NYS ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE, AND THEY ARE CURRENTLY INVESTIGATING HIS DIRTY BUSINESS.
