We built in 2005-06. We were told we could get good financing with a mortgage company they provided.They didnt tell us it would be at 9%.That was TO HIGH. So we went to our ""Grandview Hometown Bank""They financed our home for 6.25% . It was a real blessing.Our credit was pretty good,But not perfect. We had friends with perfect credit and got the same rate locally. Just an honest bank and honest values.I've told people(my kids) to go get established with this bank. They to our building and this bank is the kind of bank you want on your side.
