I can't believe the comments some of you people are making. I'll bet most of you are people that were DENIED on your adoption applications. Every one of your vindictive, BS comments hurts the chances of more animals being saved when people read them. Here are a few cold, hard facts for some of the ignorant people that choose to spew their lies. Molly's Place has had over 7,000 SUCCESSFUL pet adoptions in the last 5 years. These are all animals that were stray, abandoned, abused, neglected or otherwise unwanted by the irrresponsible people that previously owned them (if they ever even had an owner). How do you suppose they ""house train"" a rescue dog that has never seen the inside of a home? And where is this mysterious ""outside room"" that was referred to? Get a clue. These animals live in an air conditioned, safe, clean environment until they are adopted. I know because I'm one of the people scrubbing their cages and pens...for free. They are all well fed, receive veterinary care and most importantly love and attention from the staff and volunteers that work there. And yes, many of them come in sick. We thank God for the vets that help heal them. So one of you stepped in some pee? Boo hoo...Maybe you'd prefer a little red carpet be rolled out for you? Maybe you didn't see the $5,000 floor machine that gets worked into the ground every day and night keeping the place sanitary. Oh, and harsh bleach based chemicals to clean the floor? By that I suppose you mean the splash of white vinegar that goes into the mop water... I guess some of you think the animals would be happier locked up in steel cages 24-7? Money maker? Are you serious? Do you understand the term Not-For Profit? I guess you think the money it takes to lease the building, pay utilities, pay the employees, buy all the food, medicine and supplies just falls from the sky. No, it comes from good hard working people that pay a reasonable fee and adopt instead of buying into the pet store/puppy mill/breeding machine. I've spent countless hours of my time volunteering there in every way I could. When the place overflows with animals they don't have room for I've taken them into my own home until pens became available. Since some of you are so displeased, maybe instead of you hiding behind your keyboards slandering, you should get out there and make a difference in the lives of some these animals. Just don't do it on a day I'm in there, I've already made up my mind about you.
Pros: Sweet animals looking for you to give them a forever home
Cons: Apparently easy prey for ignorant rants
