I saw a dog I liked on line and figured I'd like to see him. Upon entering shelter I noticed that their were several staff members cleaning up after the dogs that were roaming in the front lobby, one of which asked me to go to the front desk and speak to the manager. The manager was about a friendly as a car crash. I filled out an application and was informed that the dog I liked was not for me because I had kids. I was very OK with this and thanked her for her judgment. Then I asked her which of her dogs are good with kids. She rudely shrugged and told me to take a look. On the main floor the dogs were roaming around. A young lady came up to me and was very polite. She tried her best to answer my questions but wasn't really knowledgeable. On the way out I stopped by to ask the manager about the price of the dog and was floored. It was $650 for a rescue dog and she was rude while telling me! If you want people to adopt a pet at that price please smile a little!
