Been going to New York Prime for years. Food is excellent, service is excellent, bar scene is excellent. I would highly recommend this place. I only have a few "little" things. 1) Not a younger crowd, 30 years are not the norm here, more like 50 years olds, so be prepared for an older crowd. 2) Steaks tend to be under cooked. If you like Medium Rare, order medium, especially on a busy night. More often then not, my steaks are always cooked slightly under, but I just adjust by ordering up. 3) Some of the chairs are older and sitting for a long meal might hurt after awhile, but nothing a few drinks couldn't cure. This place is top notch in every other avenue. If you are not a regular and got reservations at 8 PM on Sat or Fri night, expect a wait at a very crowded bar for an hour. Old School Restaurant Management comes into play here. It really is an excellent place, I am just being extremely picky at this point. Try the Baked Shrimp or the Seafood platter, expensive but totally worth it!
