i was looking for a place to buy carpet my first stop was home depot ,they should spend a lot more time to train there so called sales people before i could make up my mind what carpet to buy the sale person was telling me that home depot will not move anything that has a plug connect to it and.most of my home furnishings has a plug i walked out [their prices was high anyway.my second stop on the way home on pecos was carpet liquidators a salepreson named spencer came right to me asked what i could for you i was looking for carpet but before i pick out any carpet i have to know do you move furniture the man then assured me there is nothing that we cannot work out we will get the job done i told him what i had in my home a72""tv a showcase of 5 pieces and alargebedrm set slot machine with stand exercise equipment after telling him that he didn't flinch i felt good already i then picked out carpet and got a price of of spencer i told him i would think about it and when i spoke to my wife she said lets check one more place rc willey we went to there flooring department out of 5 salespeople no one could help us i went to one person and ask could he help me i would like to buy carpet he was so damn rude i walked away went to a manager told him what happened that we really couldn't get any help he walked over to flooring with me and went to a lady salesperson and asked her to help us all she could with are needs she helped the first price she gave me on 1100' or as they would say 125yards was $7,000 dollars and telling me what great carpet it was needless to say i left dear old rc willeys ps i don't know why the wife wanted to get price from them she must have forgotten our little ordeal with i bought tv from them i a sure the price was $6000 and more it went out on me just blacked out i called them to help me the reply was we sell tvs not repair them call a repair man and couldn't suggest one .that's rc willeys for you i then went back to carpet linq.and went in the store a different sale person came to me immediately his name was harry i asked for spencer he was off that day harry said he could help me with anything i then told him i wanted to stay with the sale person who started with me especially if you people work on commision harry said we are all family here and don't work on comm. it told him what i would like and that i already had my measurements i gave him a deposit and harry said that he is going to have spencer come by tomorrow and check out the measurements for free and look at what furniture i had to move the next day was sunday spencer came by check out everything and told me he could not see any problems that his installers would be there tudeau morning they came on time tuesday the two men was great made a [plan started it right away moving my furniture they was very good at what they do when they moved something it was like it was there own i was concerned but not after watching them for a few minutes they took out the old carpet cleaned up the floors then the padding went down then the carpet as they was doing i was watching it went smoothed and done to perfection the whole house including the big 72 tv and showcase cabinets by the end of the day when they left it was a well done job my wife and me are very happy
Pros: they should be your first and last stop for carpet
