Nice to see something new in South Allentown. As a long time fan of the Captains Table I was surprized to see it had turned into a sports bar. What a nice surprize to find a mature place to go with friends to catch a game and a few brews without the typical loud music or teeny boppers. My first visit we sat at the bar and with plenty of TV's we didnt miss a play from our favorite teams. Food wise we had the homemade chicken cordon bleau soup and steak sandwichs- The soup tasted as good as it sounds and the cheesesteaks were a cut above the typical steak sandwich. Next visit with a larger group we sat in the back dining room and still could see the TV from our table. We had mostly burgers and they were perfectly done, juicy - great with the tasty fries. Two of us decided we wanted more and we opted for the crapcakes. Nothing else to say except they were fantastic- not filler but lots of firm real crab meat. As we finished up dinner we learned they had live music that night so we hung around a little, Good choice- Single guitar player- name was Leechboy?? very enjoyable and pleasant - all in all i good night and plan on going back soon with out of town friends. If you like a place to go with friends without all the games and noise this is the place - enjoy
