I've lived in PC most of my 41 years and over time have used this laundry mat for my bed linens, etc that don't fit in my home washing machine. I went there 10/2010 after not having been there for a while and WHAT A MESS. I will not be back until I hear that there is new management. I drove to Gladstone to do my large item washes. First off, the largest machine was out-of-order....go figure. So I opted for the 2nd largest..only one of them wasn't out-of-order. Before pouring my detergent in, I HAD TO CLEAN out the detergent dispenser..it was caked with detergent of the previous users. When it started to fill, it only filled for less than 30 seconds...the dumb thing was washing with hardly any water. My comforter only got fully wet during the rinse cycle...when the water ran much longer than for the wash cycle. It came out smelling like a wet dog. The floor was nasty dirty. The change machine was out-of-order..along with the dispensing products machine. They had the video games pulled out from the wall and plugged into a multi-outlet extension cord...and the prongs on two of those video game machines were exposed. My young son had to go behind one of the machines when he dropped his quarter...this is when I saw the exposed prongs...had he gotten electrocuted by touching an exposed prong...ugh! The trash bins were absolutely overflowing...so people had just thrown their trash on the floor around the bins. The restroom had soap, thank goodness, but no paper towels...they were all on the floor around the trash bin. And thank goodness I have a boy who stood to pee because there's no way I or my child would sit or hover over that toilet...disgusting. The whole place was dirty..I felt dirty when I left. If I could give a negative rating, I would...that's why I gave it ONE star...they don't have a negative star rating. With management like this, I would NEVER use them as a drop off service...if they do your laundry in the washer I used, the only reason it doesn't stink like a wet dog is because they've had to have masked the smell by using dryer sheets.
GET NEW MANAGEMENT BECAUSE OBVIOUSLY THE CURRENT MANAGEMENT DOESN'T CARE WHAT THE BUSINESS LOOKS LIKE OR HOW IT OPERATES!!!!!
