The previous reviewer is right about how their entire management is a strange family run setup. A couple of men who work at the facilities management office COMPLETELY lack phone etiquette. And in general are some of the most rude people we've ever come across.
The management is very quick to respond to any issue though. Gotta give them some credit for that.
Walls of the apartments are paper thin. And you'll be going crazy if you're someone who loves silence but ends up having a-hole neighbors who bang their doors and have complete disregard for others who live around them or scream or fight. Parking can be an issue many a times if you live in the area where there are no assigned parking spots in river oaks.
The utlities/ trash/ water sewage bill are a complete rip off. They lie about these bills and have some sort of home made bill that they send to you. The person living here before us warned us of the same and also pointed out that it is very strange that when you complain about a large bill some particular month, they ""look into it"" and revise it and resend it as a lesser amount. It is very shady how trash and water and sewage and charges for 2 people vs one person etc all gets calculate an then adds up to an enormous ~$200 bucks per month.
Our experience here was OK. With some of our inconsiderate neighbors, rude staff, low quality of the apartments and sky high bills we were not happy and felt ripped off at the end of the day.
USE discretion and be careful before renting here
The only upside to the apartments was that they're in a very quiet location which also happens to be very safe.
