Sweet and Sassy won't disappoint you! They are always extremely pleasant, even when lines are long, and their selection of cake flavors, fillings and frostings is unbeatable and faaaaaar better in every way (taste, quality, appearance, service) than any supermarket around. The creativity of the decorating is lovely -- you will be pleasantly surprised when they open the box to show you what you ordered when you come in to pick it up. I love that it's all done on the premises, all made to order and fresh, and you can see how hard they work in the busy kitchen behind the counter. S and S is poplular, and with good reason: The frosting is delicious, the cake soft and moist with great flavor. Try the strawberry cake! Try the red velvet! You can only get those in the South, and Sweet and Sassy is carrying on the tradition of superior home-style baking. There is nothing gourmet, upscale or pretentious about this place, which I love. Just high quality, creatively decorated, yummy and beautiful cakes and other treats. I'm moving away from the area in a few weeks, and this place will be missed. I never write online reviews but I appreciate what Sweet and Sassy does so much that I felt compelled to write this one.
