Review content:
Well I don't know where to begin. I must tell you I really wanted to like this restaurant. It is close to where I live, hidden and out of the way with an open but kind of neat atmosphere. The fried calamari was excellent but everything went downhill from there. My wife ordered Artichokes French which is basically chicken stock, lemon juice, cream sherry and thickened with butter. We were only able to identify the lemon juice. She also ordered Veal Saltimboca which had basically the same sauce or should I say gravy. It was so bad my wife had to return it in favor of a Delmonico steak, which was not bad. I ended up with Tripe in red sauce. I have had Tripe in every place in Rochester and this rated about a 5 on a one to ten. The red sauce was not even close to being as good as Rockys' or Ronconnes'. Unfortunately there just was not enough positive about the place to make a return visit, however the service was excellent.
Pros: Great service
Cons: Just really bad Italian cuisine
