One star might be an overstatement. I have been renting from this company for two years now. I have been a good tenant. They have been a poor company. A month after moving into this recently updated condo, the lock broke. It was over 2 hours before the locksmith showed up. Time enough for me to eat lunch, break in, get the lock ""workable"" myself, change clothes, and pack to leave my apartment for the day. The office is a 15 minute drive away. Another time they sent a handyman to fix the leak in my sink. He didn't even bring tools and ended up using my home tool kit to do the repair. After one year of living in the condo, they raised the rent. Because this was at a time when my father had just passed away, I opted to stay instead of try to move. Recently, they offered me another year's lease. They didn't change the rent but there are multiple apartments in my area going for $100-200 less per month that have been empty for a couple months. I asked Red Carpet to see if the owners of my condo will take $100 off my rent if I sign another year long lease. I was told by Jeannie that she would talk to the owners. Now I have been told by an assistant that the owner Dave won't even contact the owners of the condo. I was told that they have the owner's best interests in mind, which in their own words is ""getting the owners as much rent as we can for the property."" Mind you, when I leave, if the apartment is open for even one month, they will have lost the owners just as much as if they had given me the apartment for lower rent. Pros: Example: best croissants in town Cons: What are the drawbacks?
