Review content:
My husband and I are ocean lovers and gourmands., trying new restaurants each day of vacation. Ocean City is the closest access we have to the sea and we go as often as possible. I usually do not write reviews, but could not let the ones I saw on this restaurant stand without correcting the image portrayed. We ate at the Embers for the first time in 2009. Wow. IT IS THE BEST restaurant in town!! We had only a few days to vacation and ate there twice. We come from an area known for it's buffets. This out shown them all, hands down. The snow crab legs were fresh and plentiful, the chicken was perfect, and the prime rib---well, I usually don't eat the stuff, too fatty or bloody, this was perfect and sliced to order. There were fish and shrimp choices from baked and fried to salads and fresh. The salad and vegetables were many and kept fresh. The second time we went, we were a little late and caught the tail end of serving. The buffet was still filled and neat. The attendants were friendly and efficient (even in the face of bad customers-took it all in stride and did not get rude.). They politely informed customers when the buffet would close and offered to bring them items of their choosing, before the buffet was closed. It is a great place to eat, try it the next time you visit Ocean City.
