Review content:
If you are looking for a true oyster bar, this is it. I tried four different varieties of oyster, none of them from the gulf. They were served freshly shucked by Nate, who had the knowledge to educate those out of the loop on oysters. They also have a wonderful peel & eat shrimp appetizer that puts most shrimp cocktails to shame. This is also a great place for people watching. Get there at four when they open and sit down at the street side bar to watch the crowd stroll by. The bar itself has a cool & funky waterfront dive sort of feel and although it is part of a larger chain of restaurants it still has the appeal of an independant operator. The service was perfect, timely and friendly without being familiar. The prices are what one would expect for top quality seafood. (1 dozen oysters $19.95) Their happy hour does have some good deals though. This was the first of many trips for me to this new found gem. Give Pearlz a try if you want a true oyster bar.
Pros: Food Quality, Service, Ambience
