Review content:
Royal Roller Rink needs some major attention. The skates are old and warped. The refreshment area has been dirty every time I have been there. To top all of this off, they play very bad music. They need to remove the older man from the music and let someone a little more flexible play it. We requested a song one night and he wouldn't play it and it wasn't anything raunchy or vulgar. I think a theme night would be a good idea. Oldies or 70's or 80's nights. I am in my 40's and still love to go and am planning on investing in my own skates but I think the establishment is in the business of renting them out so they should offer quality product. Just because it's usually a bunch of kids doesn't mean that you shouldn't provide adequate equipment, so to speak. I will continue to go to Royal only because it's in my neighborhood. It would be nice to have a better reason than that. Pros: Skate floor wasn't bad and it's in the neighborhood. Cons: Skates, refreshment area dirty, bathrooms dirty and no doors on any of the stalls.
