Review content:
I just ran into Gorman's for the first time since I moved to Lansing earlier today for some simple ""cook-out food"". I was NOT impressed what so ever. The store is poorly organized and dirty, the prices are outrageous, there were flies in the deli cooler and the lady at the deli counter clearly hates her job. The staff was not helpful, NOR FRIENDLY by ANY MEANS! Not even a simple SMILE or ""Have a nice day"". The girl who rang me up was rude. And when I tried to tell her my debit card was indeed a debit card, she interrupted me and continued talking about how her cat has fleas with the other cashier. Then with quite the attitude, proceeded to snap at me ""What did you say about your card?"" I have never been treated so terribly by employees at a ""mom and pop shop"" before. Being that I work in customer service, I know how guests or customers should be treated! Needless to say, I will be driving the extra 10 minutes to go to Meijer in Dewitt before EVER stepping foot back into that store!
