Review content:
For some reason, it appears Portland can't get it right when it comes to inexpensive to reasonably-priced Italian food (except for Justa Pasta; Assaggio, which is somewhat inexpensive compared to most of the Itaian eateries; and Genoa--well worth the price). Food was pretty good, but I will not pay their dinner prices; if you want to go there, go there for lunch. Ambience is horrible. I don't like sitting elbow-to-elbow with other patrons nor did I like the tables, which seemed unsteady. Our waiter was good, but left us for a while. Riccardo's tries to hard, playing off Portlanders' flash for the cash attitude---will trendy die out? Pros: Lunch Prices, Service, Dessert Cons: Dinner Prices, Service, Ambience
