Jensen's' line of tactical firearms is one of the most complete in Northern Colorado. The staff open carries which only makes sense in this type of environment as there is always someone out there ready to do something stupid if not down right deadly. They carry for the protection of their customers as well as themselves and their store. A large part of their customer base as well as the staff is either active/retired LE or active /retired military. The staff know their weapons and are ready and willing to answer any questions about them. Just do yourself and everyone else a favor and do your homework before asking questions. If you are new to firearms say so and do not try to pass yourself off as an expert knowledgeable in all aspects of things that go boom. Novices are treated kindly and their questions answered in a manner that is both understandable and complete. Act like a strutting mall ninja and you will most likely walk out red faced and ego battered. In closing when asking to see a particular AR-15 do not ask to see ""that black assault rifle"". Knowing the difference between an Assault rifle and a semi-automatic rifle and asking questions accordingly will make for a much more pleasant shopping experience for all involved. And remember that if the staff doing open carry bothers you, many of the customers have valid CCW permits and are carrying concealed while in the store. Some of the staff can be abrupt when the store is busy (most of the time now days), there is a sign on the door telling Obama supporters to take their business elsewhere, and there is cussing at times. Gee just like the real world.
