Review content:
I took over a toll-free number, which I thought started with 800. I was told by AT&T that primetel owned the number. I called and the woman was friendly at first, but then became rude about 20 seconds into the call. I gave her the number starting with 800. She told me it wasn't a number owned by my institution. She said the correct # may start 866. I was confused, because all the emails I inherited listed the number as 800. She kept interrupting me (and acting like i was an idiot). She said she dialed the number with 866 and it ""just rang"". Before I could explain why it would just ring (and yes, there is a reason) she rudely told me that they don't handle the number and i need to talk to AT&T. I called primetel back after i dialed the 866 number and someone answered. i thought that since i had confirmed the number worked and it started with 866 i should contact primetel again to discuss the number. When I called the same woman answered the phone and said, ""We just talked about this. We don't own this number."" Just general rudeness. Before I could explain why I called back she hung up on me. She also had an air of ""I'm smarter/better than you."" I know I started with the wrong information, but that is no excuse to act so rudely. No one should use this company (or based on the other reviews, this one woman).
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Rude, hanging up representative
