I have been going to Rene at Friend's Salon for almost 10 years. He was the first stylist that could figure out my wild hair and how to deal with it. The result has been a consistently great cut even when I asked to change styles. I found Rene way back when he still worked in NW Portland and haved since followed him all the way out to Happy Valley, even though it is now a 30 minute drive for me to get there. My wife, who gets her hair colored, goes to Rene as well and couldn't be happier. We love Rene. He is such an awesome hair stylist and a super nice guy. If you are a lady who dreads getting their haircut or is always disappointed in the outcome, i.e. color, style, etc., you ought to go to Rene because that is not a worry that you need to live with. If you're a guy who thinks ""oh, you're always two weeks away from a good haircut"", go to Rene! ...and then think again!
