Review content:
We had a party of twelve and the staff did well accommodating us. There truly is great ambiance in the dinning room. However, we went there on a sat. night at about 7:00pm. We came in the front door and had to come through ""The Tavern"" section to get to the main dinning room. This caused a lot of gawking on the part of the locals who were hanging out at the bar. No big deal we knew it was a tavern. However, in order to go to the bathroom you had to go back through the tavern area through a couple different closed doors. This led to more gawking especially towards the ladies who were uncomfortable with making this trip on their own and for good reason, the bar crowd was quite sketchy. So, great ambiance in the dinning area but the entrance and the bathroom were in the Mt. Washington hood. Aside from the awkward layout the place was nice for a large group. Not quite as good as advertised. The award winning seafood crab soup tasted like they used Campbell's Vegetable beef soup as a base. Big disappointment. In fact the majority of our party thought Campbell?s soup is better. They did have good steak and killer salad entrees.
Pros: located near light rail stop
Cons: It's a tavern!! Drunken gawkers
