Review content:
Breakfast at Blue Plate has always been a treat for us. Weve been there pretty frequentlypartly because its close to home and mainly because of the fare, some of which have a little upscale twist.
Some great attractions for the stomach are their daily all-you-can-eat specials, which are usually less than $10. My wife tried some hotcakes one daywith endless fruit and home fries. I had ordered their generously-stuffed salmon and avocado frittata and was full by the second plate. Other recommended plates include their breakfast burrito, and a great selection of fluffy omelets. Their outdoor patio is a wonderful hangout, with comfortable settings and canopy.
Service can sometimes be a little slow, but only during peak business hours. The coffee is a wonderful dark-roast and they do offer fresh-squeezed orange juice. Prices are a little higher than an average diner...but then again this place not an average diner.
Pros: good menu variety
Cons: crowded on weekends, limited parking
