I purchased lenses with scratch protection. Soon after (and I was not hard on them) I had scratches. I have NEVER had this happen with the lenses I get at Eye Masters. I called, was told it was basically my problem and they would be happy to replace them if I paid 90.00 and waited ten days. I went to Eye Masters, had my new lenses in an hour, with a one year protection plan that replaces the lenses should scratches appear, and was charged 73.00.
The manager (or she claimed to be) Myra, was quite rude and unhelpful. They DO NOT STAND BY THEIR PRODUCT. I don't know where they are getting the lenses from since it takes 7-10 days but they are horrible lenses. I have never had some scratch this fast, and suspect I was charged for the scratch protection, they pocketed the money, and it was never applied. I can't confirm this, however there really is no other explanation.
It comes down to this...DO NOT GO TO SHACKELFORD FAMILY EYECARE. Horrid staff and product.
