Review content:
This restaurant has an excellent reputation for large portioned HIGH QUALITY good food at affordable prices. The service is sometimes on the non-satisfactory side due to the surprisingly very few people who actually seek employment from the restaurant. The pickings are slim, so sometimes we just have to work with whatever we can get. The manager LiLi is extra friendly and will assure great service so please talk to her about any service complaints. The food is prepared FRESH- all noodles are prepared from SCRATCH and hand- strung for excellent quality. The low inspection score is NOT from poor food preparation or cleanliness, it was due to an employee (who is no longer employed at the restaurant) who was not in uniform during the day of the inspection and was rude towards the health inspector. The view of the kitchen is open to the public through the kitchen window and it can CLEARLY be seen by anyone at the restaurant that the kitchen without a doubt exceeds that of any other Chinese restaurant. The owners do a thorough sweep down and washing of the entire kitchen every night before closing and the walls are scrubbed and remodeled regularly.
Pros: BIRTHDAY SPECIALS AND SONG!
Cons: Please reserve large groups
