Review content:
We walked in - two women on a 'girls' night out' & were immediately shown one of the two worst tables in the place. When we refused it we were told the wait would be 30 minutes. Service for unescorted women - poor and condescending; coconut shrimp appetizer was more like a sweet seafood macaroon;Caesar salad (isn't that romaine??) looked and tasted like sliced iceburg and had an insipid watery Caesar dressing;sauteed spinach needed blotting - the oil filled the entire plate (thank goodness the lobster tail was on top of its shell!);the waiter left the wine bottle on the table, no cooler,no wine bucket and limited attention for refills; Key lime pie was like cheesecake. Who did they pay for their high ratings?
Pros: Okay wine list, varied menu
Cons: uneven food quality, below average service
