I visited Mikel's for the first time because I'd heard raves from friends about Lexi. She completely lived up to all my expectations. She listens to exactly what I want, but she also isn't afraid to suggest a new style and color to take me out of my rut when I'm unsure of what I want. I'm a total hair klutz and don't do much in the way of styling. Lexi's given me the best cuts I've ever had for just being able to wash and go. I also have to say that I never leave a Lexi appointment without having had a ton of laughs. She's a blast to spend time with, as well as being a fantastic stylist. The salon itself is also wonderful. All of the staff are super friendly and make me feel so welcome every time I'm there. The salon manages to feel high end and cozy all at the same time. The Lather Lounge experience is beyond relaxing. I always wind up choosing different massages as my free upgrades, but there are a ton of other things from which to choose. Their complimentary beverages and snacks are great. I tend to have a nice glass of wine during my weeknight appointments but really enjoy the flavored waters when I schedule weekend morning appointments. The pineapple infused water is yummy. I'm still amazed at how reasonable the prices are at Mikel's, especially considering everything received as a part of the Mikel's experience. I can't recommend this salon highly enough.
