Bodyxchange Fitness Center is by far the best gym in Pittsburgh!! They really mean it when they say ""whatever it takes!"" The Gym is clean and spacious (a rarity in southside) it has big and CLEAN locker rooms and showers. The staff there are all trainers that are always willing to help out with a spot or technique advice (unless they are training a client.) I purchased two ten packs of training sessions so far and after the first ten sessions I saw a REAL difference in my body. The good thing is that unlike many of the other gyms in southside the owners and trainers actually look like they practice what they preach without lookking all jacked up on steroids. I received a nutritional plan from my trainer Scott Hayward that addressed all my needs both nutritionally speaking but also based upon my likes and dislikes (and Im a picky eater.) The girls at the front desk are always helpful and very cute. If not helping someone with checking in, Scott and Mike have them cleaning constantly (a little much, but Id rather be in a clean gym). They not only offer hand towels for your workout, but also have bath towels available for showering (and the showers are actually clean!) By far, bodyXchange fitness in the southside area of Pittsburgh is far and away the cream of the crop. I would and have already recommended it to many friends and co workers.
