whereas i love all cute grocery stores with really good delis, cooke's is the best! it's in a tucked away little corner with it's own parking lot. the deli is amazing. they have everything you need. there's plenty of hot foods to buy, including their amazing mac and cheese. they also make sandwiches there. no time to wait? they have a section where you can buy already packed lunches with sandwhiches, salads and hot foods that just need a microwave. there's a salad bar which is always fresh and filled. they have a very large selection of beers in the cold section. i wouldn't say that this is a specialty market, but they do carry finer foods than a von's would. if you're in town, i would recomend hitting cooke's up, especially if you need a good dinner in a hurry.
Pros: parking is way easy, the deli and salad bar are fantastic
Cons: it's not the cheapest of stores, but you get what you paid for
