This is my little home-away-from home. My girlfriend and I enjoy this bar tremendously. Last night, Dave Coughlin (the Bartender of many years) passed away after a long bout in the hospital. Dave was a no-nonsense guy who upheld this old-fashioned and important landmark. He had a great sense of humor and lit up the place if he was around good friends. He was the main reason we would head out to the Harbor Room - and now that he has passed... well... We would stay after and help him clean the place from time-to-time; play some beach boys and have one last night cap. We are thankful that we took the time to get to know this rare individual. He will be missed terribly. Pros: Dave the Bartender, Steve the Bartender and some of the fine locals! Cons: Dave the Bartender passed away.
