Review content:
I was at La Vic's the first day they opened their doors, and I love going there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I probably provided them with enough revenue to open the second branch in San Jose. Their food was home-made, authentic, and delicious. Things have changed from the good old days. They now try to nickel and dime me on every little thing and the quality of food has gone downhill. I still go there once in a while, just to see if I can get the same old feeling from before, but I have been dissapointed. The place is now ran by teenagers with no manners, and cooks who take 10~15 minutes to prepare bad taqueria food. Who waits that long at a taqueria? Who wants to pay $0.50 for nachos? The orange sauce is still delicious, but that is the only thing going for them. I hate to say this for a restaurant that has accompanied me through my tough times, but honestly, La ic cares more about quantity now than quality. I am sorry old friend, but I will no longer recommend my friends (including City Search readers) to you anymore. Pros: Orange Sauce Cons: Bad Food, the crowd, bad service
