We had heard amazing reviews of this place, so we decided to spend the night before Thanksgiving there, expecting an amazing night. Well lets just say, we had ordered a glass of wine and a cocktail, which took 20 min to come out. Then the food, well as a person who has served and bartended at numerous restaurants and went to college for Hotel/Restaurant management, the food was what you would find at a Denny's or Friendly's to spend $32 on a Fillet Mignon and it come out cooked wrong and 10% of what they call meat was fat. The meat itself was garbage. The Roast Duck was the other course, or should I say string duck, because that's what happens when duck is cooked to long. The wine was supposed to be a red zin, ended up being a watered down red wine w/ a bit of a zin taste. The only good thing out of this entire experience is that the bread was good and the atmosphere was perfect for a fine dine. But with only 5 tables occupied lets just say service should have been on top of things. If in the area and are looking for a good restaurant Pond View is not as fine dining, you could still dress up, but aside from the class of restaurant the food and service is superb. Pros: nice place Cons: service slow, and drinks watered down. Needs proper cutlery for the food presented.
