Wed., July 7, 2010, Brian rang door bell, handed me flyer, will patch, two coats sealer on driveway for $175. Told him I would discuss it with my husband. My husband, Wayne called him back same night to tell him yes and inform him that he is military because the flyer said discount for military, They came Thursday morning. Wayne walked outside and he was asked to go to Lowe's to purchase some asphalt repair. He came back and the head man informed him that he had to be paid in cash. They knocked price down to $150 for military discount. Wayne had to go to Salem to the bank to get cash. They called him before he even got to the bank to see where he was and ask him to on Rte. 419 to get the money and he told him he would meet him at McDonald's. At this point Wayne had not even seen their work. This was his first mistake Wayne gave him the $150 as he requested. The man counted it out and said that he couldn't believe that he wasn't getting a tip after all the hard work that they had done. They departed. Then Wayne received a call on his cell phone from one of the men and he was still complaining that he had not given them enough money but it was what they had ask for. When Wayne told him that he wasn't getting any more money, he started cursing him and calling him names. Wayne told him that he was going to call the police and have him arrested if he didn't stop. He hung up. I have called two times today (Friday) asking them to return and look at the driveway because I am not pleased with the way it looks. It is not completely covered and a very sloppy job. The man I spoke with assured me he would come and look, but We have not heard or seen anything from him. Also I requested a receipt which we did not get and he was going to bring one. I am sure we are not the first ones to be taken advantage of like this!!
