Review content:
I have always been an athlete. I used to work out 4 or 5 days a week. When I was 25 I used to bench press 125lbs. I have always been an all around athlete. I am now 46 years old and in the last 2 years I have gained 75lbs. I went thru surgery which literally kept in me in bed for 6 months. All I was doing is eating chips drinking soda and watching the Biggest Looser on TV. What a joke!!!!. I saw in this last episode of the biggest looser that they incorporated kickboxing as part of their workout curriculum. I thought it was great. I have in office in Queens, NY and 10 mins from my office to my surprise their is Mayo Academy of Martial Arts. One slogan says ""Loose Weight with Kickboxing Cardio"". I went in an inquired and boy am I glad that I did. It has been 2 months now that I have been attending 2 to 3 days per week. I feel that Mayo Academy Kickboxing brought me back to life. I am not going to lie to you. It was hard at first. It is sort of a boot camp in my opinion. They make you work out for 1 hour with only water breaks. Sensei Mayo is friendly and caring and he understands my goal. He took the time to build momentum and to build interest. Here it is 2 months later and I can tell the difference in my body, I have lost inches. I can tell the difference in my personality, I am more up beat and energetic. My classmates they are all wonderful and friendly. They helped me built strength and they are always giving suggestions on how to improve and give you words of encouragement. I am 46 years old and I feel that I have come back to my old self. I look forward to my kickboxing classes. Thank you Sensei Mayo. You are contibuting to my success. God bless you.!!!!
