Let me start by saying yes, my credit is awful. When they called me I had actually given up searching for a car and was working on improving my score. A few weeks later I got a call. Nicole said she was with Clear Lake Auto Finance and they had ran my credit. Miracle upon miracles! I had been approved for a loan through them! I asked some questions and we set up a time for me to go to the location. It was then that she said it was the Mazda dealership. I knew this whole deal sounded way too good to be true but when you are in need, you are often a fool. I called her back a few days later and asked her if this was set on conditions or if I had already been approved based on them running my credit and were for sure giving me a loan. I explained that it was very far for me to drive for something that was not guaranteed and that there would be no point to waste anyones time. Assured by Nicole that everything was a go, I just needed to sign some paperwork, and give her copies of my DL and Insurance, etc. I decided to keep my appt.
