Review content:
I just had a kid checked me out at this store on Hickman; while he was ringing up the items, he damaged two of my American flag items; then, he just stood there and told me to bag my own items; when I spoke with a lady there in somewhat higher position, she said that for last one year, they make their customers bag their items unless requested help by the customer. The store itself is very good but I did not understand why they would keep multiple items on the belt and turn away from the customer. I even had to request to turn the belt up so that my items could be reached. As to the American flag stickers, I requested for new ones and they were rendered to me. I have shopped at Manards for more than 20 years. They need to at least help customers with putting purchased items in the bags. This is both good for the store and the customer both, IMHO.
Pros: Decent store; decent premises; good variety; well lighted
Cons: Poor customer service; No help in bagging purchased goods. NO SMILE.
