Review content:
I've been training here for about a year and a half and it's one of the best decisions I've ever made. I'm not an exercise junkie by any means, but training BJJ at Gracie Barra is legitimately as fun as it is a great workout. The environment is amazing, none of the egos that kept me away from gyms in the past. Instead there's a laid-back, respectful family atmosphere. I ride the bus an hour or more just to train and it's worth every minute. Also, these days you see a lot of dojos with questionable practices/qualifications - some instructors don't even tell you who awarded them their belt or in what. That's absolutely not the case here, Professor Bill is a world-class black belt with unquestionable credentials. I'd highly recommend the free introductory class for anybody with any interest in martial arts, regardless of age (the kids classes are great and the fundamentals/advanced program are very age-friendly, from teenagers to seniors).
