Review content:
There is just no better colorist in all of Boston, and possibly on the whole East Coast. There has been a lot of great press about Jeffrey's work, and, let me assure you, it is justified. If you need to have a natural looking but luxuriant blond mane, this is the ONLY place to go in the city. Not only that, but his staff is gracious, thoughtful, and friendly--you'll feel at ease as soon as you walk in. You will never feel that they're trying to hurry you out, and you will leave feeling like the most glamorous woman on Newbury Street. Ladies, I have been to the best of the best all over the world--London, Paris, Moscow, New York. I know whereof I speak. I'm a natural brunette, and I've been coloring my hair blond since i was knee-high to a grasshopper. For my work I need to have a polished, professional look, but I also like a touch of Hollywood for evenings out on the town. I look for that perfect balance of flair and tastefulness. I was Jeffrey's client for years at Emerge, before he branched out on his own. Recently, in a fix, I was fool enough to visit another colorist in the area who shall go unnamed, and I emerged looking like a just-hatched chick, with orange down fuzz poking out of the crown of my head instead of the elegance I had taken for granted after being Jeffrey's client. It was a nightmare. I called Jeffrey, and begged for some corrective color so that I could show my face in public again. They got me in at short notice with Timothy who miraculously transformed me from a reject from the Elmo lookalike contest to Gisele-Bundchen hair. Oh and did I mention that the blow-outs here are to *die* for? (Justine does a great job!) These folks are also incredibly responsive to telephone calls, emails, mail from homing pigeons, anything. They *will* do their very best to squeeze you in. Always polite and helpful! This place is worth every penny. If you go anywhere else, you do so at your own peril. Pros: superb color and service Cons: none, this place rocks!
