Review content:
I took my car to Champion Toyota for an oil change. While there, I had them check out a noise it was making. After 2-1/2 hrs of sitting there, they had not yet even looked at it (I got there at 6:30 that morning and was one of the first four cars in the place). After some proding, the rep got someone to look at it. They said that a bracket was broken on the exhaust system and that two brake lines were in bad shape. They start telling me I would need to involve my insurance on the repairs, and gave me an estimate of $1826. As for the noise, the mechanic stated to me that the noise simply could be due to the number of miles I had on my car and they wrote on the estimate that ""replacing the motor mounts might cure the problem."" I told them I'd get back to them. Instead I called John and Corky's and spoke to John. When I told him what Toyota told me, he told me to bring it in and he'd look at it. I went straight over there and true to his word, he cleared out a bay and put my car up right away. After looking at it, he agreed with Toyota that a bracket was broken and two brake lines needed replacing, but he told me he could save me about $1000 or over the price they quoted. I left my car with him and they gave me a ride to my job. My car was ready about 1:30 pm the next day. And guess what, no more noise!!! They charged me $822.
Pros: Service was great; personnel very friendly
Cons: I found none
