I live nearby and was so happy that a great Mexican food opened up down the street. I am not fond of the the chain tex mex restaurants...if you have been there once..no need to go back.they are all the same.
I love the deviations away from the standard tex mex offerings...like you might get in abuelita's kitchen on Sunday afternoon. The pork or brisket tacos are so good. I also recommend the mole enchiladas and the Mexican lasagna.
The margaritas are always fresh and don't taste like a processed mix...it tastes like real lime juice.!
The staff is pleasant and remembers you and your drinks. Always a nice touch.
