Businiess name:  Norikonoko Japanese Restaurant
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
Many people equate Japanese cuisine with sushi and teriyaki. If you're a little more informed, you might be familiar with udon, soba and ramen. But are these really what mom makes at home? The more worldly diner might know that that in the privacy of their own homes, Japanese people eat a much wider variety of dishes. Norikonoko is definitely where you want to go if you want to take a different path from the ordinary sushi restaurant. This is a mom and pop place where every dish is made with care. Looking for robata, chikara udon, oden, tsukemono, onigiri or sweet taiyaki? Wishing for fresh mugicha on a hot day? If you've never heard of these but love Japanese food, you won't be disappointed if you try Norikonoko. If you're Japanese and a little homesick, this place will be a cozy treasure that you'll return to again and again.
