I admit it, I have cellulite - I'm 34 and I recently had a child - go figure! Now is summer and is rough if you have less than a bikini body for summer so I trained for and ran a marathon. Didn't work to get rid of the ""cotttage cheese."" Then one of my co-workers told me about Endermologie! My girlfriend told me she was getting it done at Allure Skincare and Laser Clinic . I agreed to go with her and book my ( 20 session package price was a little less expensive than what I had researched for cost.
My first session was a bit awkward (think about your first bikini wax). You get a body stocking to dress in that covers you from neck to feet. The technician instructs you to lay on your stomach and then goes to town on your backside with a small, hand-held device connected to the Lipomassage machine that sucks your skin and fat in and massages it. Then you flip over and she repeats on your front side. During the session you'll probably perform some leg-lifts and crunches in order to target specific areas - by tensing your muscles it forces the fat up and more readily available to the hand-held device. The intensity is dependent on you - what you feel comfortable with.
So I've had 14 sessions now and I've lost 8 lbs, a pant size and my cellulite has been visibly reduced - WOOHOO! I just splurged and bought some sexy cheeky panties from Victoria's Secret and my husband is very appreciative :).
I have been eating healthy and drinking tons of water (as was recommended by the technicians) but as far as exercise is concerned, I hurt my hip (probably due to running the marathon!) so I haven't been exercising and I'm still ecstatic with the results. My hip is feeling better (due to acupuncture but that's another review) so I'm eager to see how adding exercise to my repertoire will affect the results!
Highly recommend Allure Skincare and Laser Center in Astoria Queens location. if you hate dimpled, orange peel, cottage cheese butts and thighs!
