Review content:
Dr. Cordoba is good for the patient who wishes to be a partner in his or her own care. Qualities:
1) listens carefully and checks what he hears.
2) does not make assumptions the person and past events
3) presents alternatives, how the proposed treatment works, explains advantages and disadvantages
4) is not ego-invested in particular suggestions he makes
5) he considers ideas the patient contributes to discussion of situation.
6) Is not invested in a pharmacological solution to every situation -- is open to other therapies
7) not embarrassed to say when he is having trouble thinking of something effective, then will research further and get back to patient
8) is interested in the research patient brings in related to current situation, willing to learn
9) have worked with Dr. Cordoba nearly 20 years ? and Have trusted him with my life, which is now much more worth living.
