Review content:
I purchased a sofa from this store with a check (they do accept checks), the manager said I had to wait for the check to clear (up to 30 days, yeah right) and he would call me when the check cleared. Three business days later the check cleared, I called to make arrangements for pick-up I got the office manager and he told me I would have to wait for the manager to verify.
At this point I learned the company that was working with Civilizzations on the liquidation left because of the manager cheating people. A day and a half later I spoke to the Manger and he said I he received the money but he wouldn't release the sofa to me for 30 days. He would consider it if I had some guarantee that I wouldn't take the money out of his account three weeks from now. Yes I don't get it either this man is crazy and a crook.
I reported this to the police and the officer I talked to told me they have had many complains but they can do nothing about it. I have started a complaint with the BBB, written to Get Gephartd, and have statements from employees and former employees about them. Next week I am filling with small claims court.
Please don't support his business!!!!!!!!!!!
