Review content:
I really liked this place because I always thought they did good work on my car for 4 years, but that was until the last two visits and an unprofessional rude response to my complaint and concern. It's really hard trying to find a good automotive shop in Austin (well anywhere), so I guess the search begins again. I got my car horn fixed here. Not a problem, until my cruise control started flashing and didn't work. It worked perfectly fine before I took it in. I just thought it was a coincidence since the cruise control and horn don't really have anything to do with each other, so I didn?t say anything about it. Also, cruise control is a luxury not a necessity. Then, about 3 months later my car dies on me and I have to get it towed to the auto shop that night. The next morning, they call me to tell me that my battery terminal was loose which caused it. At the same time I find out many other problems with my car. My gasket was leaking oil, so I would have to replace that. Also, my radiator and all its hoses would have to be replaced. I just gave him the go ahead to replace just the gasket. Then, about a week later (the temperature finally got warm enough to use the a/c) I turn on my a/c and it doesn?t work. It was working very well before (I was using my a/c right before my car stalled), and there were absolutely no signs of failure. It blinks and doesn?t work, so I KNOW there?s something wrong electrically with it. Then, I decide to call them about it. I assumed maybe they had did something wrong with wiring. I KNOW that the horn, cruise control, and the a/c wiring are all different and not connected to each other, but maybe someone made a mistake. No problem, right? If it was a coincidence, I would just be wrong and my car would get fixed either way. Anyways, I tell him that my a/c isn?t working and he proceeds to tell me about what about what I already KNOW. He offered to see it for free. He keeps telling me that all these things are coincidence. I do understand that they might be, but everyone wants to make sure because no one wants to get ripped off. Then he tells me in a very rude tone, ?Are you saying that I am sabotaging your car?? I told him no that I am not and that maybe someone has made a mistake. He tells me again that I think that he is sabotaging my car and rudely laughs at me for a couple seconds. First off, I never said that, he stated that. I only merely suggested that maybe someone had made a mistake, not that they were bad people. Some suggestions that they should take are don?t be rude to unsatisfied clients and keep your cool. I did not have any kind of attitude, nor was I rude, just calm. I was willing to even come back. Now, I will take my business elsewhere.
