Review content:
I had my child at cascade christian elementary school in Puyallup which rents space from / shares the building with the four square church. While volunteering one day I heard people being loud in the hallway. It concerned me because their conversation was not appropriate for children to overhear... discussion of partying, promiscuity and alchohol use is not something I want my 7 year old exposed to which is why we chose to spend the money to send him to private school. Unfortunately, after complaining the Pastor, Mr Archer came to talk to me. Basically he ignored my concern, refused to ask the work release or community service cretins in the hallway to watch their language, and lectured me at length about how much money he has given (actually it was probably his church members) to the school, etc. As a result I've taken my child out of that school. The school is fine, but the environment is not supported by the church or it's pastor who made clear that his real interest is money, not God, not serving the community, not protecting children.
Pros: None - A great school is hampered by its association with this 'Religious Business'
Cons: The pastor cares only for money, to the extent he defends people talking loud and vulgar in earshot of innocent children
